Carlson To Resign City Council Seat

Mitchell City Councilman Phil Carlson will be resigning his seat in Ward 3 in April.  Carlson, who is an attorney for Mitchell law firm Tinan, Smith, and Bucher, has accepted a position as Attorney for the Consumer Protection Division of the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office in Pierre.  He will begin his new job on April 24.  Carlson’s last council meeting will be on April 21.  His family will be moving to Pierre.
