DWU Named As One Of The Best Colleges To Work For

Dakota Wesleyan University is one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, that according to a new survey by The Chronicle of Higher Education.  The results are based on a survey of more than 43,000 employees at 278 colleges and universities.  Dakota Wesleyan won honors in three categories this year, including facilities, workplace and security, and supervisor/department chair relationship.  The Chronicle for Higher Education is a nationwide publication for news about colleges and universities.

60 years on Las Vegas Strip, Riviera closes

Owners of the hotel which opened in 1955 have agreed to sell the property to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The tourism agency confirmed the potential purchase Tuesday, Feb. 17 after days of not commenting on rumors of a deal.

The aging Riviera Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip is expected to close its doors at noon.
