An Iowa man is hospitalized in Sioux Falls with life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Sunday just a few miles east of Parkston. 57 year old Gary Bensley of Elkhart, Iowa, was driving his motorcycle westbound on Highway 44 at around 3:30 yesterday. He crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with a car driven by 88-year old Patrick Boehmer of Parkston. The car went into the ditch. Boehmer and his wife, Lenora, were taken to a Parkston hospital. Their injuries are not known. Bensley was airlifted to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Citations in the accident are pending.
