Snowmobile Falls Through Ice At James River

No one was injured when a snowmobile fell through the James River ice on Tuesday night.  At around 7:15 pm, 19 year old Jessica Campbell was riding a snowmobile along the river by Shanard Road just outside of Mitchell when her snowmobile went through the ice.  Campbell was taken to Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, but was not hospitalized.  The Hanson County Sheriff’s Office and Mitchell medics were on the scene.
