Christmas Cash Call Rules


Beginning Monday, December 9th, 2024, thru Friday, December 13th, 2024, KOOL 98-3 and KMIT will give listeners the chance to win cash just in time for the holidays via the “Christmas Cash Call” on-air contesting.

Listeners can win cash, (The value of each prize will vary between $10.00 AND $300.00. Each cash call amount will be determined by the General Manager.) by winning on-air contests from December 9th and December 13th, 2024.  Listeners can win by calling into any of the qualifying on-air contests and guessing the amount of cash in the cash vault. We will let the contestant know if the guess is too high or too low. If they guess the exact amount, the listener wins that amount of money.) Listeners must be the designated caller for that particular contest for a chance to guess and win. Listeners must call the contest line at (605) 996-1100 or (605) 996-1751. Prizes will be won when the exact correct cash amount is guessed. Times will vary within the contest from December 9th-December 13th, 2024. Once someone is a winner, Kool 98-3 and KMIT will start a new “Cash Call”, with a new dollar amount. The total dollar amount Kool 98-3 and KMIT will be giving away is $600. If that amount is reached before Friday, December 13th, 2024, the contest will end at that time. Any entry on behalf of another person or using another person’s name or phone number is disqualified and ineligible to win any prize. Contesting will be held 3 times each weekday between 6am and 5pm. Listeners will be competing with listeners from both stations.

Listeners can only win one time. Winner is responsible for all applicable state, local and/or Federal taxes. The winner will need to stop by our studios at 501 South Ohlman Street in Mitchell, SD Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm to pick up his/her prize within 30 days of winning.

KOOL 98-3 and KMIT is not responsible for any difficulties contacting KOOL 98-3 and KMIT or entering the Contest, any malfunctions, or errors, whether technical or typographical or human error, experienced due to overload, internet availability or texting server issues. KOOL 98-3 and KMIT does not guarantee, and shall not be responsible for, the delivery or timeliness of any electronic entry.

KOOL 98-3 and KMIT contests are open to all South Dakotan’s 18 or older who have not won anything on KOOL 98-3 or KMIT in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

KOOL 98-3, KMIT, Mitchell Radio Group, Saga Communications of South Dakota, LLC, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the Mitchell Radio Group main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
