Great Grocery Giveaway Rules


Listeners can qualify by calling into any of the qualifying on-air contests. Contesting will include, but is not limited to, being the first caller when the contest ‘sounder’ is played, or being “Caller Number X,” etc. Listeners must call the contest line at (605) 996-1100. Four qualifiers will be obtained each day between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm CST. Any entry on behalf of another person or using another person’s name or phone number is disqualified and ineligible to win any prize. One (1) entry each day will be randomly selected as a daily winner. Each winner receives a $50 gift card to either County Fair or Mitchell Locker and will be notified by phone. There will be a total of 5 winners for this contest. If they are unwilling or unable to accept the prize, another winner will be chosen.
The value of the prizes is $50. Prizes are based on retail value.
KOOL-98-3 is not responsible for any difficulties contacting KOOL-98-3 or entering the Contest, any malfunctions or errors, whether technical or typographical or human error, experienced due to overload, internet availability or texting server issues. KOOL-98-3 does not guarantee, and shall not be responsible for, the delivery or timeliness of any electronic entry.

KOOL-98-3 contests are open to all South Dakotan’s 18 or older who have not won anything on KOOL-98-3 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
KOOL-98-3, Mitchell Radio Group, Saga Communications of Mitchell, LLC, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the Mitchell Radio Group main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
