Christmas Shopping Spree Rules

To participate, stop at 1 or more of the 10 participating businesses on any Friday or Saturday during the promotion. Pick up a numbered card at one or more of the locations, one card per person per location. The promotion begins Friday, Nov. 8, and ends Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013. Participating businesses include: Woelfel Jewelry, Mitchell Locker, Rew’s TV & Appliance, New Leaf Body Spa, Riddles Jewelry, Prestige Salon & Spa, Little Red Hen, Cherrybee’s Floral & Gifts, Adorn Boutique, and Ed’s Pet World.

Every Monday morning during the promotion at 8:30 am, a winning number from each business will be randomly drawn and announced on the air and posted on the station websites. People with those winning numbers win a $25 gift certificate to the corresponding business. Winning cards must be exchanged for certificates at the KMIT/KOOL-98 studios at 501 S. Ohlman in Mitchell, SD.

One of those ten numbers will also win a $250 gift certificate valid at any of the 10 businesses. That randomly drawn number will be announced at 8:30 am, and the person holding that card will have 10 minutes to call the station to claim the prize. If it is not claimed within 10 minutes, another number will be announced. The process will be repeated as needed until the prize is claimed.

Each week, businesses will receive a new set of cards with a new color, and participants need to pick up a new card each week to be eligible for that week’s drawing.

At the end of the 4-week promotion, all weekly winners will be entered into a drawing for $2500 in vouchers valid at the participating businesses. The Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected at the KMIT/KOOL-98 studios and announced on the air Monday, Dec. 9, 2013. The winner will also be notified by telephone.

Weekly certificates can be picked up at the station anytime during the promotion and no later than Dec. 6th. The weekly certificates expire Dec. 24th.

You must be 18 years of age to participate. General contest rules apply.
