PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is praising President Trump’s nomination of Division of Criminal Investigation Director Dan Satterlee as the state’s next U.S. Marshal. Jackley says Satterlee has been a strong law enforcement leader since he appointed him to lead DCI in 2023 and will continue to serve with integrity and strength. The attorney general recommended Satterlee for the position, which was supported by Senators John Thune and Mike Rounds before President Trump made the nomination official. The appointment now moves to the Senate Judiciary Committee for review before a full Senate vote. For more Government stories from MitchellNow.com, Click Here.
