Tomorrow’s Boys SoDak16 Basketball Games

Class A:

  • 14 seed McCook Central/Montrose vs No. 3 seed Clark/Willow Lake at 8pm
  • 15 seed Wagner vs No. 2 seed Sioux Falls Christian at 5:30pm

Class B:

  • 15 seed Lower Brule vs No. 2 seed Freeman at 7pm

Mitchell Basketball

The (RV) Kernel girls basketball team has made the Class AA State Tournament once again! They will be having a sendoff tomorrow night at 6:15pm in front of the Corn Palace as they head to Rapid City, SD to compete for a State Championship from March 12-14.

DWU Golf

The Tiger men’s golf team is set to compete beginning today. They’ll be at the Crestview Spring Invitational in Wichita, KS, and it is a two-day event. Start time listed for 8am this morning.

DWU Softball

The Tiger softball team had a couple of more games last night at the Tucson Invitational yesterday. They split the day as they lost to Carroll (MT) 7-4 and beat Valley City State, 3-2. They will have today off and pick back up with a pair of games tomorrow against Providence (MT) at 2pm and then Dickinson State (ND) at 4:30pm.

DWU Wrestling

The (RV) Tiger men’s wrestling team returns after 2026 NAIA Men’s Wrestling National Championship competition where they had three athletes competing. As a team, DWU finished in 34th place out of 63 teams with 9.5 points for their team score. Kipp Cordes, Teagan Foreman and Jagger Tyler with one standing out above the rest – Jagger Tyler. His four wins catapulted him into elite company in the national rankings and DWU history. Tyler’s finish makes him the 23rd All-American in DWU Men’s wrestling history and 18th overall individual to get the honor.

DWU Baseball

The Tiger baseball team saw action yesterday afternoon as they continued play in the Tucson Invitational. They matched up with Carthage yesterday and couldn’t manage to get the victory, falling 3-0. With this loss, this now marks a four-game losing streak after a hot start for the Tigers. Next, they’ll play SMSU again today at Noon in Tucson, AZ.

SDSU Basketball

The No. 2 seed Jackrabbit women’s basketball team took on No. 1 seed North Dakota State yesterday for the Summit League Championship at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. They managed a 64-51 victory over the Bison to claim their fourth straight conference postseason title and the 13th since 2009. Brooklyn Meyer led with 26 points, nine rebounds and four blocks to earn Championship MVP honors. South Dakota State has won 12 straight Summit League Tournament games and is 44-5 all-time in the Summit League postseason. Win the win, they have punched their ticket again to the NCAA Division I Tournament for a 14th time.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves will return to the court tomorrow night when they make their way to Los Angeles, CA. They’ll be playing the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena. Tipoff is set for 10pm on NBA/Peacock.
