MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The South Dakota Highway Patrol will be conducting sobriety checkpoints in 15 counties throughout September. Checkpoints are planned in several counties including Charles Mix, Hutchinson, Jerauld, and Minnehaha. Officials say the checkpoints are aimed at discouraging impaired driving.
