MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — A black Ford pickup truck crashed into the front of a Mitchell business on Wednesday, significantly damaging the building near its entrance.
According to the press log put out by the Mitchell Police Department, the accident occurred at about 4:40 p.m. Mitchell Now was on scene shortly after. An unmarked white police car with lights flashing was monitoring the situation. The truck was empty, much of its front end still buried into an office window just to the right of the entrance of Creekside Veterinary Clinic at 1111 West Spruce Street.
No details about the crash have been made publicly available. This story will be updated as soon as new facts emerge. Both Creekside Vet Clinic and the Mitchell PD have been contacted for more information about the incident.
