The Twins go for a series win at Wrigley Field Sunday against the Cubs. Minnesota took the opener, 5-2, but lost on Saturday. Starter Taj Bradley got the decision, dropping to 9-4 on the season. He allowed five earned in five innings of work. The Twins looked like they might have something brewing in the top of the 9^th, but baserunning blunders saw guys thrown out at third and at 1^st on the same play, dashing the hopes of a comeback. Sunday’s pitching matchup is Zebby Matthews versus Shota Imanaga.

The Minnesota Lynx hit the 20-win mark for the season Saturday, extinguishing the Portland Fire 101-93 at Target Center. Kayla McBride led the team with 24 points, going a scintillating 4-8 from beyond the arc. She is now in the Top 20 for WNBA scoring leaders all time. Portland had three players eclipse the 20-point mark in the loss. They drop to 11-15 in their inaugural season.
