Olivet Man Indicted on Multiple Felony Sex Crimes Involving 13-Year-Old Girl

OLIVET, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A 35-year-old Olivet man, Jacob Constant, was indicted September 25th on multiple felony sex crimes after allegedly assaulting a 13-year-old girl over several months. According to the Daily Republic, charges include two counts of second-degree rape, two counts of aggravated incest, sexual contact with a child under 16, and more. Court documents say the assaults began after explicit messages were exchanged in fall 2024 and escalated in April 2025. The Hutchinson County Sheriff’s Office is handling the case.
