Saturday is the first Palace City Farmers Market of 2026

MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — The plaza on the south end of the Corn Palace will turn into an open-air farmers market Saturday morning.

Live music from Tim Parks will fill the air from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. with vendors showing off their wares, including handcrafted items, fresh fruits and vegetables, desserts and baked goods, and meats. Organizers are also planning a creation station with all-ages fun, other family activities, and even yoga.

Saturday’s Palace City Farmers Market is the first of 2026. It will return each Saturday morning through the end of September.
