Sioux Falls Council Weighs Proposed Data Center Near Brandon

BRANDON, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A proposed data center between Sioux Falls and Brandon is now in front of the city council. The project by Gemini Data Center SD, LLC would rezone 160 acres from residential to light industrial and could bring 200 to 300 jobs. While Brandon officials are asking for more collaboration, developers say they’ll cover utility costs and are ready to move forward. If approved, annexation and infrastructure work would follow.
