South Dakota Launches John Lewis Youth Leadership Award to Honor Young Community Leaders

PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) South Dakota’s Secretary of State Monae Johnson has announced the John Lewis Youth Leadership Award. Beginning this year, two state residents will be honored annually for their leadership, service, and impact in their communities. The award, celebrates the legacy of the late Congressman John Lewis who was a civil rights icon for many.
