Mitchell Golf

The Kernel boys golf team is competing in their State Tournament today and tomorrow. They are out West in Rapid City, SD at Meadowbrook Golf Course. They will tee off both today and tomorrow at 9am. GGID: 25SDBOYSAA.

DWU Golf

The Tiger men’s and women’s golf teams are both in action today. They will be teeing it up in Sioux City, IA at Whispering Creek Golf Club for the Mustang Derby. DWU will compete there both today and tomorrow. Tee times are listed as TBA on the DWU website.

MLB

The Division Series games continued yesterday with a pair of ALDS Game 2 matchups. The No. 4 seed New York Yankees couldn’t muster up a win against the No. 1 seed Toronto Blue Jays and lost again, 13-7. Toronto now has a 2-0 series lead. The other game was between the No. 6 seed Detroit Tigers at the No. 2 seed Seattle Mariners. Seattle managed to even the series up after a 3-2 win at home. The series is now tied 1-1. NLDS games will be continuing tonight with their Game 2’s starting with the No. 3 seed Los Angeles Dodgers at the No. 2 seed Philadelphia Phillies at 5:08pm on TBS/TruTV. Ending the night will be the No. 4 seed Chicago Cubs at the No. 1 seed Milwaukee Brewers at 8:08pm on TBS/TruTV.

WNBA

The WNBA Finals Game 2 took place yesterday between the No. 2 seed Las Vegas Aces and the No. 4 seed Phoenix Mercury. It was the Aces who managed to get themselves another win in this series to go up 2-0. They defeated Phoenix, 91-78, and Jackie Young led the way with 32 points.

NFL

The Minnesota Vikings matched up with the Cleveland Browns yesterday morning in London. They won the game by a score of 21-17 and Justin Jefferson paced the offense with seven catches for 123 yards. Tonight, will be Monday Night Football as the Kansas City Chiefs travel to play the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight at 7:15pm at EverBank Stadium on ABC/ESPN.
