Mitchell Volleyball

The Kernel volleyball team’s senior Addie Siemsen was recently named All-Tournament team after Mitchell’s recent time in the State Tournament over the weekend. Mitchell finished in 8th place at State. Siemsen also was recently acknowledged for her play throughout the season and was named second team All-State.

DWU Wrestling

The (RV) Tiger men’s wrestling team is set to compete tomorrow afternoon on the road in Sioux City, IA. They will wrestle in the GPAC Duals at the Newman Flanagan Center beginning at 2pm.

DWU Basketball

The Tiger basketball teams will both be on the road tomorrow and each in Sioux City, IA. They will play Briar Cliff (IA) at the Newman Flanagan Center following all the wrestling action taking place earlier in the day. The No. 19 ranked women’s basketball team (4-2) will play at 6pm against No. 9 Chargers WBB (9-0) and then the Tiger men (5-3) will play after against Chargers MBB (5-2) and begin at 7:45pm.

SDSU Basketball

The Jackrabbit men’s basketball team (4-2) will be on the hardwood tomorrow. They will be in Cancun, Mexico playing in the Cancun Challenge against Utah Valley (3-2) in the first day of action. The game will tipoff at 5pm and it will air on FloCollege.com but will require payment to view.

NFL

The Minnesota Vikings took on the Green Bay Packers on the road yesterday afternoon at Lambeau Field. Minnesota was unable to muster up any offense against Green Bay, and JJ McCarthy struggled. He had two interceptions and threw for just 87 yards passing. The Vikings kept pace in the first half and trailed just 10-6, but were scoreless in the second half and lost 23-6. Minnesota is now 4-7 overall. Monday Night Football goes down tonight on ESPN. It’ll be the Carolina Panthers (6-5) at the San Franciso 49ers (7-4) with kickoff at 7:15pm.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves (10-6) will take on the Sacramento Kings (4-13) on the road tonight. Minnesota has won six of their last eight games and have beaten the Kings in their previous two meetings this season. The game will begin at 9pm and air on NBA League Pass.
