Mitchell Soccer

The Kernel girls soccer team returns to action tomorrow looking to keep things rolling They will play against Rapid City Stevens, and the boys get back to action as well, also facing Rapid City Stevens. Girls will play at 7pm while the boys kick things off at 5pm.

Mitchell Tennis

The Kernel girls tennis team will get set to play this afternoon. They will be on the road in Harrisburg taking on the Tigers. It will be a Varsity Dual and begin at 4pm at Harrisburg High School.

Mitchell Football

The Kernel football team is almost a week away from the regular season. They will get their chance to have an intra-squad scrimmage tomorrow evening here in Mitchell at Joe Quintal Field. It is set to begin at 7pm.

DWU Volleyball

The Tiger volleyball team is set to play over the weekend, and it begins tomorrow. They’re competing in the Siouxland Invitational at CNOS Fieldhouse in Sioux City, Iowa. Tomorrow, they will face McPherson at 11:30am and Missouri Valley at 2pm.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins were unable to get revenge on the Oakland Athletics last night. It was another win for Oakland, but this time in extra innings. This game went 10 innings, and it was Shea Langeliers who hit a two-run homer in the 10th to guide his team to a 4-2 win. These two teams will play again this afternoon at 12:10pm to close out their series.

WNBA

The Minnesota Lynx hit the road tonight as they return to the court. They will be in Atlanta taking on the Dream at 6:30pm on WNBA League Pass.
