Mitchell Golf

The Kernel boys golf team will get back to action tomorrow morning. They will compete in a Varsity Invitational against Parkston. It was here at Lakeview Golf Course in Mitchell and begin at 10am.

Mitchell Tennis

The Kernels girls tennis get back at it on the courts today. They will compete at 10am in a Varsity Dual against Spearfish at Hitchcock Park in Mitchell and then at 4pm against Pierre.

Mitchell Cross Country

The Kernel cross country teams will be in a cross country varsity invitational. It will be at 6:30pm at Yankton Trails Park.

DWU Golf

The Tiger men’s golf team will be continuing with day two action. They will play in the Blue River Classic at the Highland Golf Course for this final day. They will compete at 8:30am today again in Lincoln, NE.

DWU Cross Country

The Tiger men’s and women’s cross country teams will each compete tomorrow night in a Twilight Invitational hosted by Augustana. It will be in Sioux Falls at Yankton Trails Park, and the women will begin at 8:30pm and the men start at 9pm.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins and the White Sox faced off again yesterday. The Twins haven’t gotten a win yet over the White Sox and dropped the game again, 4-3. The two teams play again at 6:40pm.

WNBA

The Minnesota Lynx will get back to game action tonight. They will be on the road taking on the second-best team in the WNBA, the Las Vegas Aces. That game will be aired on Prime Video and begin at 9pm.

NFL

The NFL season begins tonight with an NFC East rivalry game. It will be the Dallas Cowboys at the Philadelphia Eagles. The game will air on NBC & Peacock and begin at 7:20pm. The Minnesota Vikings don’t make their debut until Monday when they travel to face the Chicago Bears at 7:15pm on ABC/ESPN.
