Mitchell Tennis

The Mitchell Kernels girls tennis team will start their season this afternoon. They’ll compete right here in Mitchell at Hitchcock Park. It will be a triangular where they will face St. Thomas More first at Noon and then Aberdeen Roncalli at 2pm.

DWU Soccer

The Tiger soccer teams started their season yesterday afternoon. The women’s soccer team tied with Gillette CC, 2-2, and the men’s soccer team beat Gillette CC, 4-0.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins and the New York Yankees began their series yesterday evening. Will Warren for New York gave up just three hits and a pair of runs through 6 2/3 innings of work, helping his team to a good 6-2 win over the Twins. Minnesota will get another chance tonight when they play at 6:05pm.
