Mitchell Golf

The Kernel boys golf team started their Varsity Invitational at Spearfish Canyon Golf Course yesterday against Rapid City. Some results from yesterday include a Top 6 placement for Mitchell in the East/West Invite. Asher Dannenbring led the way for Mitchell with a three over par score and 75 total, which was good for seventh place. This morning the boys will compete again and face Rapid City at Meadowbrook Golf Course at 8am MT/9am CT.

Mitchell Soccer

The Kernel girls soccer team is slated to play this afternoon. They’ll face Sioux Falls Christian at Joe Quintal Field in Mitchell at 4pm.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins get back to action today. After a day off, they return to the field to face the Oakland Athletics at 6:40pm tonight.

WNBA

The Minnesota Lynx will hit the road today for another game against the New York Liberty. They will play at 6pm on NBATV. Minnesota owns the season series, 3-0, and will look to make it 4-0 tonight.
