Sturgis Rally Brings in $1.6 Million in Taxes

STURGIS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The 2025 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally pumped nearly $1.6 million into state and local tax coffers, up 13 percent from last year. The total includes state sales, tourism, and municipal taxes. Officials say vendor numbers also surged, with nearly 1,200 on site this year, a 32-percent jump from 2024.
