The Ron & Sheilah Gates Department of Theatre at Dakota Wesleyan University will hold auditions for their spring production of ‘The Three Musketeers’. Member of the community are invited to audition.  This production calls for a cast of sixteen to twenty adult actors of varying ages.

Harrowing adventure, unexpected heroes, and everlasting friendship take center stage in Ken Ludwig’ thrilling adaptation of the popular novel. One of the world’s most enduring comedies, this classic tells the tale of a brother and sister who find themselves in the company of the world’s greatest swordsmen — as well as some of the world’s most dangerous enemies. Full of romance, swordfights and treachery, this play promises to be a fast-paced, witty, and swashbuckling good time.

Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday, December 8-9, at 7 p.m. in the DWU Black Box Theatre, inside the Dakota Discovery Museum.  Those auditioning should be prepared to read a short scene and learn a short stage combat routine with swords.

Rehearsals begin in January 2026.  A rehearsal schedule is created based on cast availability.  Show dates are March 20-22 and 27-29.
